VICTORINOX INOX WATCH 241724.1 Men's wristwatch from the Swiss brand Victorinox. INOX model 241724.1. The INOX (Impact Neutralizing Object for the X-tremes) collection was presented in 2014 to commemorate the brand's 130th anniversary (1884) with the aim of passing 130 resistance tests to various factors (25 more than the regular approval tests of the other products of the brand). The creation of the model involved 4 years of design, 3 years of development and 6 months of testing with 421, half of which did not pass that phase. These tests include supporting a pressure of 8 tons (an excavator runs over it) and even the weight of a 64-ton tank, sudden changes in temperature (going from -51ºC to 71ºC in seconds, the same test that they must endure American missiles), 12G of centrifugal force (it can be put in a washing machine without problems) and resists washing in that same washing machine for 2 hours at 90ºC, a fall of 10 meters (equivalent to 3 floors with a final speed of 50 km/ h), a sandstorm without losing legibility and with perfect operation, resists acid, putting it in boiling water, resists vibrations, traction and torsion (the steel bracelet resists 500,000 vibration cycles, 10 times more than a regular model and can support the weight of a person lifted by a helicopter) and so on up to 130. Made in Switzerland. 43mm brushed 316L stainless steel case with polishing on the chamfered hexagon of the fixed bezel. Sapphire crystal with triple antireflective treatment that is below the bezel to avoid direct impacts. Screw-down crown at 3 o'clock with engraving of the brand's logo and protectors. Matte blue dial that, in contrast to the white applied hour markers, offers great legibility in all kinds of circumstances. At 12 o'clock there is a logo of the brand applied. Central hands for hours, minutes and seconds. Red seconds hand. Day of the month at 4'5h. Luminescence on the hour and minute hands and on the hour markers. Swiss Ronda Normtech 715 caliber quartz movement. Brushed screw-down case back. Water resistance 20 ATM (200m). Brushed 316L stainless steel bazalete with three micro-adjustment points and folding clasp. It includes a removable black rubber bumper that fits the case to protect it from impacts and scratches.
