Chanel Reissue 2.55 Double Flap Handbag. Rare Chanel Reissue 2.55 Collectors Item. In classic black aged calfskin, diamond quilting and double flap closure. Aged hardware, Mademoiselle turn-lock fastening and signature Reissue chain. One front flap pocket and one slip pocket at the back. Interior in bordeaux lambskin leather with the inscription 2.55 - 2005. Measures: Height: 12 cm; Width: 20 cm; Depth: 5.5 cm. Serial Number: 10648331. With dust bag. Authenticated by Real Authentication. In very good vintage condition. Some light signs of wear due to the age of the bag. This Special Edition was reintroduced by Karl Lagerfeld in 2005 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Iconic Chanel 2.55 Bag, designed in February 1955 by Coco Chanel. Chanel continues to produce this bag but technically only the 2.55s produced in 2005 are 2.55 Reissues.
