It Is Best Known For Its Popularization Of Folklore Creatures Known As Yōkai, A Type Of Spirit Monster To Which All The Main Characters Belong. This Story Is An Early 20Th Century Japanese Folk Tale Performed On Kamishibai. It Has Been Adapted To The Screen Several Times In The Form Of Anime, Live-Action, And Video Games.
